Lashing Straps are made of lightweight 1" webbing and used for securing ground load to toboggan. Straps come in pairs that are each 18' long with a loop at the anchor end for securing to your running line using a girth hitch. Two spring-loaded buckles with webbing loops complete the set. Loops on the buckles allow for girth hitch attachment to running lines where ever you want to end your straps.
Lashing Rings have 1 1/4" brass ring with two loops of webbing attached to accept running line. The two loops allow for attachment over a crosspiece. I set up rings at each crosspiece and then rely on running straps under the running line in between crosspieces. The rings provide a secure attachment right at the crosspiece.
Floating Rings use the same brass ring but has only one longer webbing loop attached that can be attached anywhere on the running line with a girth hitch. The Floating Ring offers a wide variety of uses on the toboggan or for a hanging loop in camp.
