The BRS Distance made its Iditarod debut in 2004 and has been back each year since! This sled has made it through the Alaskan range, down the infamous Dalzell Gorge, and across the Farewell Burn of the Iditarod Trail. Its flexible design allows it to give and not break. It has been tested on thousands of miles of trail. Built on 8’ REX runners the raised bed sits 5 inches up off the snow. The rope side-rails allow for flexibility fore and aft. Stanchions are 3-ply laminated white ash. Bed and brushbow are made of 3/16” UHMW. Comes in bed lengths of 3.5 feet and 5 feet. The BRS Distance comes standard with carbide-tipped stainless steel brake points and suspended drag pad that incorporates 6 carbide-tipped studs to bite into snow and ice.
